Forage and DoorDash Partner Together to Scale SNAP/EBT
San Francisco, California (June 24th, 2024) – Forage, the mission driven payments company, and DoorDash, the largest food delivery platform in the United States, today announced a partnership to scale SNAP/EBT acceptance on the DoorDash app. Since launching support for SNAP/EBT payments in 2023, over 1.1 million consumers have added their SNAP/EBT cards to DoorDash.
Forage’s partnership with DoorDash aims to accelerate the acceptance of SNAP across the platform, broadening access to food for the 42 million people receiving SNAP benefits, 17 million of whom live in food deserts, and millions more who are on disability, are elderly, and/or are full-time workers and caretakers for their families.
